Account and unit status pages
What pending, unassigned, denied, inactive, expired, and missing-payment screens mean—and who must act next.
Guide at a glance
How to use this guide
Start with
Collect the school, unit, responsible account, exact status, and any visible error or billing detail before acting.
By the end
The operational issue is resolved without creating duplicate identities, losing history, or weakening account ownership.
Authentication status pages
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Check email | Registration or recovery requires an email action. |
| Waiting for approval | The account exists but an instructor or platform reviewer has not approved it. |
| Not assigned | The account is approved but has no usable unit or Cadet assignment. |
| Denied | The access request was denied. |
| Account not found | Authentication succeeded but no matching platform user record exists. |
| Session expired | The idle or hard session limit ended the session. |
Unit and entitlement states
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Unit inactive | The unit is not available for normal signed-in operation. |
| Missing payment | The subscription does not currently entitle the unit to the application. Instructors reach billing; Cadets remain blocked. |
Who resolves each state
Cadet join approval and linking belong to the unit’s instructors. First-instructor approval and platform account status belong to platform staff. Billing is resolved by an instructor or purchaser.
A blocked Cadet should not create a second account unless support specifically directs it. Duplicate identities make linking and history harder to repair.
Critical public pages remain reachable
Support, privacy, data-rights, and safeguarding pages remain available even when a session is missing, suspended, or unpaid.
Safeguarding submission is deliberately available without authentication.
